Our Story

Neikes Floor Covering was established in the 1940’s by Frank Neikes, and has been a staple in the community, providing affordable quality flooring and tile ever since. As the years have gone by new owners have continued to keep the Neikes legacy alive.

So, when Blake and Cecilie Richardson had the opportunity to buy the store in 2021, they were thrilled. With a love for their community, a willingness to provide great service, and a passion in all thing’s “home”; it was the perfect business to take on. Blake has a background in owning residential and commercial rental properties, has a great eye to detail, and is known to work on house projects himself. His wife Cecilie loves the design element and has captured attention for her interior decorating of her own home and has been featured in magazines for the refined style of the realistic dollhouses she creates. Together they make a great team and are so thankful for every person who walks through the door. No matter how big or small the job, they are here to guide you in the process of finding the perfect flooring or tile to suit your home and through the installation journey.
